The Role

We’re looking for a Reporting Business Analyst to join our Sydney team. You’ll work directly with clients and internal teams to capture requirements, produce clear specifications, validate analytics outputs, and support testing and quality assurance. You’ll bridge business analysis, analytics, and delivery to ensure high-quality reporting and BI solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Gather, analyse, and document dashboard, reporting, and analytics requirements.

• Translate business needs into actionable functional and non-functional specifications.

• Support ERM implementation and client advisory teams.

• Perform testing, data validation, and coordinate UAT.

• Maintain requirements and testing artefacts in JIRA and Confluence.

• Identify opportunities to improve analytics efficiency, reusability, and quality.

What were looking for

• Experience in BI, reporting, and data visualisation requirements gathering.

• Skilled in Agile delivery, SQL (MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL), and BI tools.

• Confident in producing clear documentation and performing quality assurance.

• A problem solver with strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

• A team player who values collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Exposure to AI and automation tools.
