Job Overview
The role of People & Culture Coordinator typically involves supporting and assisting with the day-to-day operations of our People & Culture team. You will be responsible for administrative tasks, ensuring HR policies and processes are followed, and providing support to both employees and management.

Here are some of your key responsibilities:
  • Provide operational HR support to employees and managers – providing advice on a range of HR inquires.
  • Support P&C team and hiring managers in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, managing candidate communications, and assisting in the preparation of job descriptions.
  • Gather and maintain HR metrics data including time to hire (TA spreadsheets), compliance, onboarding and exit information.
  • Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and pre-employment screening.
  • Track and maintain up-to-date probation information of new hires.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including personal details, employment contracts, and benefits in the HRIS and shared HR folders.
  • Assist with the onboarding, orientation and offboarding processes for employees, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Help organize employee assistance programs and engagement initiatives to enhance workplace morale and productivity.
  • Support the People & Culture team with the management of best practice HR processes.
  • Assist with any ad hoc People Projects.

You’ll be a great fit if you have:
  • Tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience using HRIS and Application Tracking systems.
  • Exposure to Labour Law and employment equity regulations.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, organize and show initiative.
  • Effective HR administration and people skills.
  • Great organizational and time management skills.
